Check-In time is after 14:00 (2pm)
Check-Out Times
Check-Out time is before 10:00 (10am). Depending on availability late check-outs can be arranged at $20 per hour.
24 Hour Check-In
With the use of our easy to use automated system we have 24 hour check-ins available to those arriving outside of our reception hours.
Reception Hours
Reception Hours are 8am to 9pm Monday through Saturday. Sundays and Public Holidays the reception closes at 6pm. Late arrivals please see the automated check-in instructions.
Automated Check-In Instructions
For those checking in after reception hours, please follow the instructions as below :
Locate the car parking area which is on the ground floor off Stranger Street then find the reception door (not the Brunswick Road reception door), to the right of the reception door is a blue ‘Keysafe’ box mounted on the wall. Key in the last 3 digits of your mobile phone (or phone number quoted on your booking) followed by the # button and your key with the room number will be released into the tray. This key will allow you access to the building as well as your room. The key has been activated for 1 night only so requires you to complete the check-in process at reception the following day.
Any problems the Emergency phone number is on the wall instructions and there is a call box 50 metres down Stranger Street if you do not have a mobile phone with you.
Live in Manager
We have a full time live-in manager to assist with issues that may arise outside of reception hours.
Daily Room Servicing
The rooms will be serviced daily, that means the rubbish will be removed from the room, towels will be changed and beds will be made.
Weekly Room Servicing
For long term stayers, the sheets will be changed once a week and the apartment will get a general clean up / wipe down / vacuum.
Parking
We have free off street parking available to our guests.
Internet
We have a third partly hotspot supplier servicing our motel providing broadband internet access in all of our rooms – there is an additional charge to use this. We also have an internet kiosk available at reception for those that do not have their own laptop.
Luggage Storage
We are able to store your luggage securely short term in you have an early arrival or late departure at no extra cost.
Payment Type
We accept the following methods of Payment:
Visa Card, MasterCard, Amex (3% surcharge), Diners (3% surcharge), Eftpos and Cash.
Security
The building is secure and only those with a room key will be able to access the building. We have CCTV which constantly records all common areas.
Laundry
There is a common laundry with washing machines and dryers for guests use.
Tour Desk / Travel Info
We have a brochure stand with information on tours and tourist activities in and around Melbourne. We are also able to arrange bookings on a variety of Day Tours.
Fax & Photocopying
We have faxing and photocopying facilities at reception.
Local Services
Berwick Shopping centre is a short walk (400m) from our apartments and there you will find supermarkets, chemists, food court, ATM’s amongst others.
Trams
We are a short walk (300m) from tram stops servicing numbers 19 (Royal Parade) 1 & 8 (Lygon Street)
Non-Smoking
We are a non smoking facility.
Motel Chain
We are affiliated to the Budget Motel Chain.
AAA Tourism
We are a member of AAA and have an official 3 Star rating with them.
Lift
We are a 3 story building and do have a lift servicing all floors.
DVD Hire
Reception has a library of DVD’s that are for hire to guests
Vending Machines
There is a vending machine at reception that provides drinks and snacks for guests.
