We recently stayed at Parkville Place Apartments in Brunswick which I can highly recommend as a clean, cheap and convenient place to stay. It is within easy striking distance of Melbourne CBD with trams in close proximity. There are also plenty of local shops, pubs and restuarants close by. Overall a very pleasant stay with helpful friendly staff.

My family and I stayed at Parkville Place Apartments for a week in October in their so called ‘Family Apartments’.

The apartment was clean and had full cooking facilities so suited our needs perfectly. The location is a couple of km’s north of the CBD so easy access to to the city using public transport. It was clean and cheap and very good value for money, it is only 3 stars but even so I have stayed in many places with a higher star rating that would be worse than this. The staff were friendly and helpful, the only problem we did encounter during the week was with the kettle and this was immediately replaced when brought to the attention of the front desk.

Overall I have no problem recommending this place to others looking for a clean, reasonably priced place to stay in Melbourne.

Had a great week staying at Parkville and would highly recommend the apartments as a place to stay for anyone travelling to Melbourne for a conference. The proximity to Lygon St is a huge bonus and the staff were extremely helpful and friendly. They couldn’t do enough for me. Thanks Warren for your help during the week.
